January Goals

New Year, new me. Isn't that what everyone starts off saying at the beginning of a new year. Well I am perfectly content with who I am, I mean of course there are some things I would like to do more but I am not one of those people that sets a goal that I know I will never accomplish or give up on after a month or so. So this year my only resolution is to work on my relationship with Timmy and grow our relationship with God.

Cheers to 2015, may this year be better than the last. I hope I can learn from all the tragic events that took place last year and become a stronger person and make 2015 the best one yet.

Let's take a look back at my goals I set for my self during the last month of 2014...December.
  • Lose 5 pounds. - Holidays.....
  • Pile on the miles. My goal is to exercise a total of 60 miles in the month of December.- damn Holidays.
  • Be able to run 1/2 a mile without stopping - seems small but this would actually be a big accomplishment for me. Plus...gotta start out small. I eventually was able to do this, but then the Holidays hit and I slacked so who knows if I still can.
  • Buy a New Years Dress  - Bought my new years shirt.
  • Do at least 20 crunches a day.- HAHA. I really thought I was going to be able to do that one
  • Eat 2 salads for dinner a week.
  • Make Christmas cookies with Timmy. - We made them with my dad and his girlfriend! Such a fun time! Check out the post here and the recipe here.
  • Make Timothy 3 new dishes for dinner we have never tried. (Clearly 5 last month was pushing it) - Chicken Pot Pie - nope...we stuck to our usual dinner foods.
  • Hang photo ledge. IT WILL GET DONE THIS MONTH. - NOPE still not hung.
  • Send out Christmas Cards DONE and I loved how they turned out!
  • Lose 5 pounds. Just get used to it- this is going to be on my goal list until I get down to my goal weight.
  • Pile on the miles. My goal is to exercise a total of 60 miles in the month of January - yep this is going to constantly be on the goal list as well.
  • Register for our Wedding Gifts.
  • Eat 2 salads for dinner a week.
  • Do 20 crunches a day.
  • Make Timmy 3 new dishes for dinner we have never tried.
  • Be able to run 1/2 of a mile without stopping- we will try this one again.
  • Decide on a Bachelorette party destination/date.
  • Order invitations for Stock the Bar Party.
  • Start a dinner get together with some girlfriends.
  • HANG THAT FREAKIN' PHOTO LEDGE.
  • Print and hang photos for Gallery Wall on staircase.
  • Be able to put at least $100 in my savings
  • Make book for Christmas cards we received this year.
  • Make hair appointment

I love your goals! I wish I only had 5 lbs to lose! I still have so much post baby weight! I have at least double!

Your 'make hair appointment' goal just reminded me I need to do the same! Haha! =) The holidays were a little crazy and I totally put it off. Needing a trim right about now..

I love giving myself monthly goals too, it sort of holds you to trying to do those things if it's written out! I wish you the best of luck sticking to these goals, I know a lot of people have got health/exercise goals for this month!

Keep at it and celebrate the victories. Those are doable goals. Take time to assess every month whether it is feasible.
