February Stitch Fix: Fix #4

My fourth Stitch Fix arrived yesterday!

For the people who don't know what Stitch Fix is, let me tell you about this awesome company! Basically Stitch Fix delivers clothes right to your front door. When you sign up (use this link) you will be prompted to fill out a styling profile and picking a delivery date (you can choose how often you want your fix to come). The styling profile will include filling out your sizes, how you like your clothes to fit, and what type of outfits you like. The picture below is one of my style profiles they asked me to rate with love it, like it, don't really like it, hate it.

You then pay a $20 styling fee, which will be applied as a credit on the clothes that you do decide to keep from your shipment. Stitch Fix will send you 5 items per shipment, it will be clothing or accessories (you can specify which you would like to have, and which items you would not like to receive). Once you receive your shipment you can try on all the items in your own home, decide what you like and what you don't like. Keep what you want and send back what you don't want in a pre-paid envelope. If you keep all 5 of your items you will receive a 25% discount.

I love the fact that I can try on all the clothes sent to me at my own house and try them on with different outfits. Whenever I am shopping I am always wishing I wore different clothes to see if the shirt or pant or jewelry I am trying on will go with something in my closet. Also, you can earn credits with referrals. You only pay when you get a fix, there is no monthly fee.

Okay..let's get to the goods. Let me know what you think I should keep and what I should send back!

Annalisa Boucle Skirt - $88.00

My First Impression: I don't really ever wear skirts.

Impression After Trying it On: I didn't try it on because I don't ever wear skirts and didn't see a need for it in my closet.

Status: Sending Back

Jamie Knit Top- $38.00

My First Impression: I loved the color and the material. The back (not shown) had a little peep hole at the top.

Impression After Trying it On: I felt like it really didn't do much for my figure. It was just kind of blah.

Status: Undecided.

Adorra Ankle Length Skinny Jean - $88.00

My First Impression: I love that they are black skinny jeans. The material felt really comfortable.

Impression After Trying it On: They fit really well. I am wearing them in the picture above.

Status: Probably sending back

Prescott Solid Fringe Detail Wrap Scarf - $32.00

My First Impression: I love the color and it was so soft and big!

Impression After Trying it On: I really liked this scarf. I don't have anything this color but Winter will be over soon and I have a ton of scarves already, so I don't really see a point to keep it when I will probably only get to wear it once.

Status: Sending back.

Kerry Raglan Lace Detail Top - $58.00

My First Impression: I couldn't wait to try on this shirt! I loved the lace detail!

Impression After Trying it On: I really like this shirt! The only thing is that it is kind of long (you can't tell in picture) but I loved the way it fit and I loved the detail!

Status: Probably keeping.

So now I need your help, which items do YOU think I should keep and which should I send back?

If a $38 dollar shirt isn't something you're too sure about, I'd send it back. Definitely keep the lace shirt! It's so pretty!

Oh what a fabulous concept! I like the lace detail top, not so much of a fan of the jumper. But the jeans! If you get a good fit jean ALWAYS take them!! Laura @ Life with Baby Kicks xx

This seems like such a neat idea! I would enjoy doing something like this so I can "shop" without my kiddos in tow... BUT I am a REALLY frugal shopper and it seems like they send you a lot of stuff that is way more then I would ever spend.

I love the two tops and the scarf you received! I have always wanted to try Stitch Fix but they pieces they send seem to be a pretty penny.

They all look great! I would keep the two shirts and the jeans. It looks like you had a winner stitch fix box. I am afraid of the day when I like all of my items. Thanks for sharing!

For some reason I can't see the skirt or jeans, but I do think the raglan top looks great on you! Love the lace detail.
