Bridal Shower

This past Sunday I had my most perfect shower! One of my moms best friend, Melissa, hosted a Lilly Pulitzer themed shower in my honor! I have always loved Lilly Pulitzer so when she asked me what type of themed shower I wanted there was no question I wanted Lilly. Melissa went all out and planned almost everything while living in Florida! I am so appreciative to have her and her family in my life, they have truly been a blessing!

The shower was at North Hills at the Renaissance Hotel in one of their meeting rooms. When I walked into the room I was amazed at how Melissa had turned this room into Lilly Pulitzer heaven! There were pink and green linens, gorgeous pink flowers and a beautiful cake from Edible Art! We kept this shower to close family, family friends and the bridal party and it was such a lovely afternoon to get to spend with the lovely ladies!

When you first walked in there was a table with a notebook that each guest would fill out an advice card and then my sister would take a picture of them with a Polaroid. The binder was pink and green and the pages were so pretty and decorated and cut all by Melissa and her daughter Audrey. I love that they brought a Polaroid camera so they could take a picture of each guest and then tape it inside. I didn't get many photos with the guests so this will be a great memory of everyone who attended!

In the back of the room was the beautiful table with all the delicious food! We had tea sandwiches, hummus, fruit, cheese and orzo. The flower were done by Kelly Odom.

When you sat down you were surrounded by more pink and green! In the bottom picture you will see a bowl of some of Mamie Jo's delicious cheese straws! She is a close family friend and if you have ever seen or had the cheese straws sold in Raleigh at NOFO or in Chapel Hill at Southern Season, you know how delicious they are.

At each of the spots was a game sheet of Who Said It? And then a personalized pencil that said Ashley & Timmy Nov. 21, 2015

Then the best part of the shower was the cake. Melissa had it made by Edible Art and it was absolutely gorgeous and delicious! Edible Art is the same baker who is doing our wedding cake, so she got the same flavor! Melissa worked very hard to create the perfect cake for me. It was Lilly and the middle layer matched the invitation Lilly pattern.

Now here are some of the few pictures I did take :)

My sister, who we actually got into a Lilly dress!

Melissa, the wonderful hostess!

The lovely ladies that made all of this shower amazing!

Whitney, a bridesmaid.

Erin, a bridesmaid.

Leslie, my Maid of Honor.

Well, there you have it. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful shower!
