Stephenson Wedding {Father of the Bride Speech}

So I cried during the Maid of Honor speech and was recovering from hers when I saw my Dad walking up to stand next to me to give his speech. I had completely forgotten he was after my MOH. I was not prepared for his speech at all, I wasn't prepared to cry but boy did I.

My dad and I have always been best friends but it wasn't until I was in high school that we truly became the best of friends and had more of a friendship. My dad is my number one supporter and the person I can always go to for a quick cheering up! We may butt heads a lot but it is only because we are both so much alike! My dad is not much a public speaker and I told him after his speech, I must get my nerves of public speaking from him. His speech was the best Father of the Bride speech I had ever heard, I know I may be a little bias but it was awesome! He had his serious moments and he had his funny moments and he even embarrassed me a little!

Take a look at it for yourself here!

I watch that video all the time and still cry to this day. My dad and my mom might not have always got along but in his speech he really honored her in a way that no one else could. Love you Dad!!

Aww this is seriously so special and has me missing my dad! My dad's speech at my wedding had everyone in tears, he was crying himself which broke me down. My friends told me even though they could barely understand what my dad was saying between all the tears, they cried too because they could hear the love in his voice! These pictures say it all!

This is the BEST! I don't have my dad's speech on video but I still remember it, such a special moment! Your dad seems like the greatest guy!

This is the sweetest. What a wonderful tribute to you, and a great man to include your mother. How beautiful!
