Hello 27 { Beach Music Series }

Hello and welcome to part 1 of my birthday weekend recap, let me tell you it was a long weekend with lots of celebrating!  When I say we celebrated a lot, I mean a lot; from beach music with friends on my actual birthday, 2 birthday dinners and a party with my friends on Saturday night! So let's dive in! 

Last Thursday I turned 27 and the birthday festivities began with a night with some friends at the Beach Music Series at North Hills! During the summer North Hills, which is a shopping center in Raleigh, has a beach music series every Thursday night. This birthday I got lucky and my birthday fell on a Thursday so I knew that is what I wanted to do with a few friends! I hadn't been this summer yet and the weather was going to be perfect so I knew it would be a good time.

Band of Oz was playing Thursday and it was a blast! We got there just before it started and stayed past when it was over! We listened to the music a good bit but honestly we stood around talking for 3+ hours and it was a perfect way to celebrate turning 27! 

I hate that we didn't take advantage of beach music more this year, but w will definitely be attending more next year!! Come back tomorrow and read more about my birthday weekend!
