Winter Date Nights

  • Make snow cream - Depending on where you live, hopefully sometime during your winter you will get to experience snow. Take advantage of it and make snow cream with your significant other!

  • Spend the day snuggled up by the fire watching movies - Spend a day being lazy! Don't get out of your PJs, don't put any make up on just relax and curl up next to your significant other and watch movies! If you can't decide on a movie you pick one, then they pick one and alternate!

  • Fireplace s'mores - In my opinion these are the best kind of s'mores! You can stay inside where it is warm and still enjoy the gooey goodness of melted chocolate and marshmallows.

  • Make homemade hot chocolate - Find a recipe on Pinterest, like this  one, and just spend time making the hot chocolate together and then sipping it by the fire.

  • Coffee date - If you want to get out of the house, go for a coffee date. Coffee dates are good anytime of the day to keep warm.

  • Binge watch Netflix - Much like the movie night idea, but this one you actually need to agree on a show. Watch extremely way too many episodes of one show.
  •
  • Complete a puzzle - This is great bonding time and a great exercise of the mind! Find a really pretty one and possibly frame it as decor around your house.

  • Play a board game - You are never too old for monopoly or a good game of clue! Those are two of our favorites! But you may need a few other people for those games, so invite a few of your couple friends over and make it a group date night.

  • Go bowling - Y'all may not be the best bowlers or you may be really good, but go out and have a little friendly competition! Make a bet whoever loses pays for dinner!

What are some of your favorite winter date nights?

We don't get too many cold days in FL, but when we do, we try to take advantage by lighting a fire in our fire pit. And s'mores are always involved!

These are great! I haven't been bowling in years but it's so fun! I love going out to a cute cozy restaurant and chatting over wine!

Love all of these suggestions!!! I have never made snow cream before. That's different! I love binge watching shows on Netflix. S'mores are always a good idea as well. :)

Anything s'mores is a good idea in my book. Sometimes I even break down and do the apartment/lazy girl version: layer grahams, chocolate, mallow, and stick it in the microwave for 5 seconds. Seriously, 5 seconds! It's all melty and warm and hits the spot!!
