Well, North Carolina got hit with some good snow this past week and it was beautiful! It is rare that we get to see snow here and it actually accumulate to a good amount, but this time it did and we took full advantage of it!

How to Make the Most Out of a Snow Day
Who doesn't love a good snow day? Well, let me rephrase that...what southerner doesn't love a good snow day? I live in NC so snow days are rare, we mostly get ice, which still gets the schools closed and work cancelled, but it isn't very fun. But if we are lucky to get a nice fluff of snow, us Northcarolinians go crazy and really make the most out of our snow days!

Snow Day 2017
When Northcarolinians hear on the news that there will be snow, we somewhat freak out. The weather was calling for multiple outcomes before the winter storm came we really weren't sure of what was going to happen. There were some reports our area, which is Raleigh, could get 4-6 inches of snow, some places 12 inches and some said it could miss us. We really weren't sure of what was going to happen, but all the milk and bread were gone from the grocery stores by Wednesday morning.
