I Think I Can, I Think I Can

This Saturday my Fiance and I will tackle one of the most difficult physical endurance that we have ever challenged ourselves to complete. We will hike 20 miles in one day, to be more exact - hopefully in less that 11 hours.

As I am getting my list together of what I need while on the phone with my aunt (who will also be hiking with us) I am slightly freaking out. I am not prepared whatsoever. She is just rattling off tons of things I will need and I have none of them. I need certain socks, I need moleskin for blisters, I need snacks, etc. and I have absolutely nothing except my boots and a camelbak water pack.

At this point, I am thinking to myself "Can I really hike 20 miles?" "Will I be able to keep up with everyone?" "I should have trained a lot more...oh gosh I am going to die." All these things are going through my head but at the same time there is a part of me in my head saying.."HECK YES you can do this Ashley, you are ready!" - but that is just a small part of me. But then I found these quotes that have really increased my motivation and my drive that I will be able to complete this 20 mile hike and not be struggling the entire time or crying - whichever comes first.

Do you all have any quotes that motivate you and keep you positive?

Thanks so much! It will be difficult but thank goodness for a good support system!
