My favorite part about this restaurant was the view! If you sit outside on the deck, you get a great seat to watch the boats pull in and feel the ocean breeze. Back in May I went to North Topsail Beach for my cousins wedding, while there we stopped in Surf City to try this restaurant recommended by my cousin!
If you want some good seafood at a causal place this is the place to go! Obviously I got the Fried Scallops with fries and cornbread! I tried a little of the cornbread but filled up on my scallops before I got to really enjoy the cornbread. My sister got the kids Fried Shrimp and her plate was the same size as mine! They have huge portions!
The service was great! They were very attentive to us and made sure we had everything we need. The bartender was great, our drinks were delicious! I had a bay breeze and it was so good!
The only thing that was a little difficult at this restaurant was the parking. The parking lot is not very big and some of the parking is right off the street which causes a little difficulty when trying to back out, don't want to get hit by oncoming traffic. Another thing that was weird their were showers in the bathroom...odd...not a big deal but just odd.
Other than the parking lot I really enjoyed this restaurant. It was a little pricey but it was delicious - my meal for my sister. Timmy and I was $77 without tip. But it was worth it...I wouldn't want to be eating cheap seafood...

That food does look delicious! Having showers in the restrooms is very strange. Sounds like it may have been something else before a restaurant or something?
