Timmy and I have been together since 2011. We have had many different types of Valentine's celebrations, but this one has been the most special. This is the first year we are celebrating Valentine's Day at Mr. and Mrs. Stephenson.
Timmy and I have started a new little tradition for Valentine's day. Every other year we are going to get dressed up and make dinner reservations at a fancy restaurant. Last year we stayed in, the year before that we went out, so this is the year for us to go out and have a nice evening together out.
Timmy and I love Flemmings, so there was no debate where we wanted to spend our first Valentine's as a family. I made the reservations well in advance so we wouldn't have a repeat of 2013 Valentine's and had a prime spot at 6:15pm. We spent all day relaxing and catching up on our shows we missed over the past week. Lounging around on Sundays is one of our favorite things to do on the weekends, so it was perfect we were able to do that on Valentine's Day.
Finally it was time to head to dinner. Unfortunately I was a blogger fail and didn't take that many photos. We enjoyed a nice bottle of white wine and enjoyed amazing filet mignon and potatoes and shrimp! Every time we go there we remember why this is one of our favorite restaurants! The service was amazing and we had such a fun time enjoying our first Valentine's Day as newlyweds!
Instead of paying $30 for dessert we decided to hit up cook out and grab milkshakes and enjoy them in bed! Best decision ever because we love cook out milkshakes and we hadn't had them in awhile!
