Girl Talk: Erin + Jay's Engagement Party

I can't tell you how excited I am for these two people right here. This past weekend we celebrated the first of many parties for them at the lake! Just 187 days until the big day!!

Erin was one of my bridesmaids and was the one who introduced me and Timmy, so I am so excited to get to stand up there with her and share all the happy wedding moments with her like she did on my day!

Saturday we all went to Jay's parents lake house in Sanford at Buffalo Lake. Let me tell you how peaceful this lake is! Hardly ever any boats on the water, it is so nice! The weather ended up being perfect, not too hot with a slight breeze. They really couldn't have asked for better weather.

I think I was most excited for what was on the menu, a low country boil! I haven't been to one in about a year or so and when Erin told me this both Timmy and I were so excited.

There were pounds and pounds of shrimp, potatoes and corn! There were leftovers but we ate a good amount of all the food! After dinner we all hung out and just sat by the dock and Erin and Jay cut their cake!

After all the adults left, it was just a few of the bridal party left. We played cards and stayed up way too late, but it was a good night with good friends!
