Wolfpack Football: Opening Game

Well we decided last minute to go to the first home football game for NC State this past Thursday. Rain was in forecast and I was a little hesitant, but I am so glad we did because once we got out there it just sprinkled for a little and then it was done. We did leave at the beginning of the 4th and that is when it started raining.

Last football season we didn't get out to many State Football games because we were busy with wedding stuff. And then after the wedding time flew by and before we knew it football season was over. So this fall Timmy and I told each other we wanted to go to as many state games as we could!

We got an email from our distributor that he had some extra tickets the morning of the game, I told Timmy let's just play it by ear because of the rain. Well after work we got ready and left and it was raining. We met everyone at a restaurant to meet up and carpool and by the time we were leaving for the game it finally slowed down.

Once we got out there the rain had stopped. Thank goodness! We didn't do any tailgating because it was a last minute decision and the weather was iffy.

If you read my blog often you see that us three spend a lot of time together. We just went to the  Brantley Gilbert concert, just the three of us together. Warren lives so close to us and while we hang out with our big group of friends together a lot, it seems like the three of us hang out together more.

State played William & Mary and there wasn't really any question if State was going to win or not. Once we got our Chick-fil-a sandwiches and drinks, $18 for 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks...ridiculous. We made it to our seats. Which were amazing I might add. We were right between the 35 and 40 yard line and 7 rows behind the players.

NC State ended up winning by a lot and it was a great first game of the season!

Glad you got out to the game! We were at the Wake Forest game on Thursday too and we were so glad it didn't rain! And both our teams won!
