This was a busy weekend! Our family was honored at Campbell University School of Law, we walked for Cystic Fibrosis and we spent the afternoon at the lake!
My weekend started a little early, I took a half day at work because my Grandfather was being honored at Campbell University School of Law! My grandfather is a very well known lawyer in North Carolina and spent over 2 decades as an adjunct professor at Campbell, where they named an Advocacy Suite in his name. It was such a special ceremony seeing all the endless hours my grandfather has dedicated to Campbell and being honored in that way! There were also two courtrooms that were named after two judges as well.
After the ceremony, Timmy and I headed to Winston Salem to stay with my other grandma because the big Warriors for Wells walk was Saturday morning! If you have been here for awhile, you may know that my cousin has Cystic Fibrosis (Timmy and I are hiking 22 miles in October to raise money and awareness for CF - if you would like to donate to our cause you can donate HERE) and every year they have a big walk at Wake Forest University for Cystic Fibrosis! We go every year and love supporting my cousin Wells and the CF cause!
After the walk, we all headed to Lake Norman for a afternoon at the lake and dinner at one of my favorite seafood restaurants, Big Daddy's! The weather was perfect for an afternoon at the lake!
Sunday we woke up, headed home and got ready for another week!
