I went to the Busy Bee Café for a Cystic Fibrosis meeting and really enjoyed it. It serves as a place to eat and a bar where people can gather for a get together and have a few drinks. They have a good menu - some appetizers, salads, sandwiches, dinner entrees, side items, desserts and brunch on Sunday's.
The only thing I did not like about the Busy Bee Café was the fact that they don't serve the typical beers like Bud Light, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, etc. they are known for serving craft beers - since I am not a big beer drinker I was not a fan of their craft beers. However, I did enjoy some of their cocktails..my favorite was the "Queen Bee" (fitting right?) this drink was made up of New Amsterdam gin, St. Germain Elderflower, pineapple, sour, champagne - very delicious! While I was there I also tried the Loaded Tots with cheddar, bacon, sour cream and scallions--this was absolutely spectacular and was a great starter. For my main meal I had Caesar Salad but was very tempted to try the Loaded Tot Burger but since I am on trying to eat better thought that I should go with the salad - maybe next time I will try the burger!
Overall my experience at the Busy Bee was great - since we had a little private party we were upstairs in the mezzanine and had a little privacy away from the Thursday night bar crowd. I would recommend this place to anyone no matter what they were planning - a night out drinking with friends or a dinner with your significant other.

Please help me reach my goal of $2,500 by October to help fund the research for Cystic Fibrosis!! Click HERE to donate and click HERE to learn why I am raising $2,500!
