St. Patrick's Day was this past Saturday and we spent the day with some of our best friends in downtown Raleigh celebrating and wear fun green T Shirts! This year St. Patrick's Day fell on a Saturday and there were tons of block parties and drink specials at all the local bars in downtown so we spent the whole day there!
We had such a good group with us, not too many people that we couldn't keep track of everyone! The plan was to go to the street party the Hibernian Irish Pub was having, but as we walked up it was way too crowded. Too many people and not enough space. Luckily, the bar down the road, Milk, was having a similar street party and it wasn't as crowded...YET.
Timmy and I both got St. Patrick's Day themed shirts! His says " Magically Delicious" and I got it from Amazon and mine was a simple glitter clover!
So we hunkered down there for a couple hours but when the bathroom line and beer line got to be more than a 20 minute wait we decided to move else where. Our next stop was Cornerstone, our usual bar we like to visit. They just opened up a new part of the bar and it was nice because the place is so big, we didn't feel crowded at all!
We ended the night grabbing some dinner at Char Grill and went home to the pups and called it a night. We had so much fun and the weather was just perfect - we really couldn't have asked for a better day to celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

So, so, so fun! I didn't do anything this year but my favorite St. Patrick's Day was when I went to Boston with some friends - was SO LIVELY!
Oh wow it looks like you guys had a great St. Patrick's Day. It's been a long time since I've gone out and celebrated the day in full swing. Maybe next year I will.
What a fun time! I love getting out and having fun with friends on fun holidays like St Pattys!
