Over the next few months, I can guarantee the 95% of my posts will have something to do with water. We had our first pool day the first weekend in June and have spent at least one Saturday or Sunday at the pool or at the lake! We love summer and we hope you enjoy looking back on our first month of summer!

Who doesn't love a good floral top? I have been eyeing all my favorite boutiques and their floral prints and have been wanting to snatch up everything, but I think it might be a little excessive if everything I own is floral! Or would it??

How We Surprised My Dad for His 50th Birthday

This past weekend we surprised my dad for the second year in a row for his birthday at his own house! Last year we had planned to go to the beach but last minute plans fell through so we through together a quick little surprise party in two days! It worked and he was surprised and we all had a blast. This year, he turns 50 (his birthday is this Sunday) and we knew we had to do something for him but making plans with my dad is so difficult, so another surprise party it was!

Can anyone believe it is Monday already?? I don't know where the weekend went, it went by way too fast! This weekend was super hot outside so we made sure we stayed cool in the pool!

Ok, Netflix is the best thing ever. Except when they take forever to make some of your shows available on Netflix, then I'm annoyed with them. But, for the most part I love Netflix and I am always binge watching some show!

Spring is in full force in North Carolina and I am loving this warmer weather! It is hard to say which season is my favorite to dress for, but I do love all the bright colors spring and summer bring out in people's wardrobes. This past weekend we had our first cookout of the Spring/Summer season! During the warmer months we like to host our friends at our house and grill out! It was absolutely beautiful here in Raleigh on Saturday, day time the sun was shinning and night time it was just cool enough to feel comfortable outside. It was a perfect day to relax on the deck with some Sweet Tea from  Southern Breeze.

First Lake Trip of 2018

This weekend we had our first lake trip of 2018 and it was a good one! Friday after work Timmy, myself and our friend Lindsey along with the 2 pups made the 3 hour drive to Lake Norman to start our weekend of sun and fun!
