Dr. Ian Smith Shred Diet

So before my cruise I completed 2 weeks of the Super Shred Diet...but I didn't follow it exactly to a tee. It was hard but since I only completed 2 out of the 4 weeks before going on my cruise I have now started the Shred Diet by Dr. Ian Smith. Also, before my cruise I tried the Military Diet (see my results here) - for the first time and loved it! The results were pretty good. I also did it for a second time after I got back from my cruise - see results here.

I wanted to continue to do the Military Diet, so I am combining 2 diets as 1. The Military Diet is a 3 day on, 4 day off type of diet. But to keep myself for eating unhealthy on the 4 days off I am going to follow The Shred Revolutionary Diet, which is a 6 week diet, on my off days. I wanted to use this space as a check in and keep myself accountable. I just got back from my cruise on last Sunday and back from my GA vacation yesterday so I am officially starting the Shred Diet / Military Diet today.

I am going to try my very best to do it everyday. But, I know I need to give myself a little wiggle room - I am committing myself to do it at least Sunday-Friday between both of these diets. Summer is here and I am go go go on the weekends but if I give myself a little leeway I think I am setting myself up for better success. I will be checking in every Thursday to let you all know how I am doing.

Here is my schedule: Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday = Military Diet, Sunday, Thursday, Friday = Shred Diet and Saturday my DAY OFF.

Have any of you all tried this diet? If so, how did it work for you?

It took me a long time of looking at the military diet before I actually did it but now I am on my 3rd time and I love it! Good luck and let me know how it goes if you decide to do it!

Moving sent my eating straight to crap. I need a major kick in the butt.

I heard the military diet works really well! I have a post on my blog on ways you can stay fit even if you are super busy! I will post it below! http://crazybloggingbabe.blogspot.com/2015/06/how-to-stay-fit-for-busy-human.html

Good luck with it! I find diets too hard to stick too...I just try to eat healthy and exercise a little bit every day. Even if I only have time for a ten minute power workout! :)

Thank you I will check it out! This is the 3rd time I have done it but the first time I will have done it with another diet and continuously so hopefully it works out!

I've been trying so many type of diets lately but none of them seem to be working for me. I'll have to look into this :)

I can't wait to hear more about it! When it comes to diets, I fully support taking days off. I eat as healthy as I can Sunday-Friday. But Friday night and Saturday I let go a little. If I don't do that, I just can't motivate myself to stick to a diet at all!

Thanks for sharing. I haven't heard of either of these diets (I try just to eat clean) but am wanting to drop the last few lbs before I race in August so I'm going to check them out! Thanks
