I have loved sharing with all my readers about my honeymoon this past week but sadly this is the last post about our wonderful trip! Read Part One and Part Two.
Wednesday - Day Four
Wednesday we woke up refreshed and ready for another relaxing day. We set up another excursion for our fourth day - a Sunset Catamaran so we were only going to have a few hours at the pool before we left. The weather was beautiful and I thought it would be the perfect day to wear my "Wifey" tank. Remember this post? If you like tanks like this be sure to check her Etsy Shop out!
Since we weren't going to be at the pool for long we decided to get a cabana and boy was it relaxing. At first we were miserable because of course we picked the one directly in the sun, but we figured out how to clothes the curtains and when we did it was so relaxing!
Finally it was time to go on the Catamaran - with 40 other people I might add. We didn't know it was going to be that many but it was still nice. The weather was perfect and it wasn't that cold out on the boat! The views were gorgeous! We enjoyed it but we would never do another catamaran cruise again, at least a sunset one that is supposed to be romantic because there were so many other people there.
Thursday - Day Five
Thursday was our last full day in Mexico and it was gloomy, so it was the perfect day to relax. We slept in the latest we had slept in all week and ordered room service for breakfast..which was nasty! We lounged around in our slippers until about lunch time.
We finally got motivated to get up and go to lunch. We ate lunch came back to the room and napped again until about 4pm. Clearly we had not been getting enough sleep during the rest of our trip. Finally Timmy told me he wasn't laying in the bed anymore and we got up and headed to our old and faithful Sugar Reef Bar. We were a daily visitor usually about 2 times a day. This bar was so neat it was outside and had TVs, ping pong, pool table and swings as seats!
We met this really nice couple that were also on their Honeymoon from England and Timmy ended up entering the darts tournament with them. We ended up staying at that bar until about 6 before we headed back to the room to get ready for our last dinner at the resort. We went back to the steak house for dinner then headed back to the Sugar Reef Bar. We had the intentions of going to the magic show they had at 10pm on the resort but we ran back into the couple from England and next time we looked at the clock it was 11:30...completely missed it. But we all had so much fun!
Friday - Day Six
Friday we woke up packed and headed home. We didn't want to leave but it helps knowing we will be back in Mexico in a little over a month!
