Stephenson Wedding {The Dress}

If anyone could say they found their absolute dream dress, that would be me. I went shopping for my wedding dress a year before our wedding; I had already been engaged for 4 months and I was ready to find the dress I would marry my best friend in.

We had an entire day planned out for our shopping day, you can read the full story of how I picked my dress  here, but I ended up picking out my dress at the very first place. I had all the sorts of emotions you hear about when finding your special dress. I tried it on and it was all I could think about the rest of the day; I knew it was the dress for me and there was no other reason to try on any other dresses.

Once I got back to  Lana Addison they put me back in the dress and got me all jacked up with a veil and belt and it happened. I cried, we all cried and I didn't want to take off the dress.

Every time I had a fitting I was so excited, I couldn't wait to put the dress back on. On my wedding day I was constantly looking at the clock and wandering into my dads closet just to look at it. The dress had absolutely everything I wanted. It was full, it had lace it was strapless and it have a little bit of bling. I could not imagine getting married in any other dress.

Our photographer, Cara from  f8 Photos, had all my girls and my moms best friend help me get into my dress, which was really awkward but whatever. While they were helping me Cara was snapping away, probably got some boob shots because with my dress I didn't need to wear a bra...holy cow I felt so free and comfortable the entire night! But as they were buttoning and zipping me in the back, all of a sudden I heard something pop and I saw some of the girls faces..I was like OMG what just happened. They all swore nothing happened and I was imagining it; turns out a button had popped off but all was good!

At the end of the night I didn't want to take my gown off. I absolutely loved everything about it! Linking up for  Wedding Wednesday!
