Weekend Recap

This weekend is one for the books! It was a fun filled weekend with birthdays and baby showers and lots of good friends!

Friday night the hubby and I relaxed and cooked breakfast for dinner and watched some netflix. We both knew we had busy days on Saturday and wanted to be well rested!

Saturday morning came and it was time to get the day going! The first thing on my to do list for the day was get fitted for my bridesmaid dress! So my friend Brittany and I made the trek to Smithfield, which is only about 40 minutes from our house, and got fitted. We had a little time between getting fitted and our friends baby shower so we went out to lunch and enjoyed some girl talk.

After we were full we headed to the baby shower! Whitney was one of my bridesmaids and she is expecting a  little girl at the end of September! It was a lot of fun with games and lots of goodies for baby Sadie!

Had to get a picture of the baby bump and our onyxs!!

Meredith girls!

After the shower we headed home to get ready for my birthday dinner! My birthday was last Wednesday and we had about 20 people get together for dinner for my birthday on Saturday! We went to Buffalo Brothers, which I will never take a big party like that to ever again! We didn't order our food until like 7:45, we got there at 7. And then we all devoured our food when it came out and then it took another 30-40 minutes to get all of our checks. I know we had a lot of people but it was ridiculous how awfully slow it was taking them. At first they only gave us one waiter, well when we had been there for 45 minutes and had not ordered we requested some help.

After dinner was finally over, we headed back to our house and played some games and just had a blast! I felt so special to have all my friends together celebrating my birthday!

Sunday was a much needed day of rest! A horrible storm came through so it was a movie day! What did you do this weekend?
