Tone It Up: 31 Day Challenge

Good morning!! Well, I have decided to dive into the  Tone It Up 31 Day Challenge! I saw  Mistle mention it this week and thought, this is perfect timing for me; I have a cruise in December and am going on a short little vacation in a few weeks. So it is the perfect time to start getting toned up again, especially before the Holidays!

The challenge starts tomorrow and I am ready for it! In the past I have been really bad at keeping up with challenges and seeing them all the way through, but I have faith in myself this time. And plus I have been waking up at 4:40am for the past month almost 4 times a week to get a workout at the gym in before work, so that is something new for me.

I decided to take some before pictures, not that I am expecting to lose a lot of weight or all of a sudden be toned in all the right areas, but as a motivation to keep going even after the 31 days is up. Maybe I will do this challenge over again or try and find a new challenge. I kinda forgot to take the pictures until I walked into the gym this morning, so they aren't the best before pictures but they will do!

Have you ever tried the Tone It Up 31 Day Challenge?

You can do it! I have the Tone It Up app (haven't used it as much as I should) but I really like it. I have been working on weight loss as well (I was on steroids for a health condition for months and gained weight). I have found that progress pictures are really helpful. I recommend taking some in shorts and a sports bra just for your own tracking. Make sure you take them in the same spot and lighting each time. I didn't do this my first month and thought I lost a TON and then looked in the same lighting as the first picture and realized it was just lack of shadows. Ha! You live and you learn. But, I believe in you! If you can wake up at 4:40 and workout you are a champ! I workout at night because I am NOT a morning person.

That looks like a pretty intense challenge. I love a good 30 day challenge, though. I think you will do really well considering you've been waking up at 4:40 am...that's some dedication! Can't wait to follow along.

Love this! I used to work out religiously. Like 5-6 days a week. Then my husband came home from deployment and we moved across the country so my workouts got a bit messed up haha it's been about a month since I've seen a gym. But it's my goal this month to get back to it :)
