April Goals

  • Pile on the miles. Log 45 miles at the gym. Since I have started the BBG workout plan, I am not doing as much Cardio as I was before, so I thought 60 miles would be a little unattainable. Check out my first week of the BBG here
  • Of those 45 miles I log in at the gym- run 15 miles of them. - I ran about 11 miles this month.
  • Be able to run 1 mile without stopping.  - I am getting there...
  • Lose 2 pounds - Well I didn't gain any weight so that is good...
  • Drink 64oz of water 3x a week.
  • Cut out all Fast Food (except allowed one time during weekend) - I am usually pretty good about not eating Fast Food, I rarely eat it except on those mornings I wake up from the night before and  I have had a few drinks but since I know I will need my bojangles one of those mornings I am going to allow myself one morning, but ONLY if I need it)
  • Make Timmy 3 new dishes - this month flew by and Timmy started a softball team, so dinner has been sort of easy but I will work on it next month

  • Continue with drinking 64oz of water 3x a week
  • Log 45 miles at the gym.
  • Run 15 miles of the 45 miles I log at the gym.
  • Lose 2 pounds
  • Get 10,000 steps 4 days a week
  • Cook 2 new dishes
  • Pick out pictures to go in Gallery Wall
  • Have a date night with Timothy at a restaurant neither of us have tried
  • Spend less money than I did in March. I have updated all my bills in Mint.com and am going to work on my spending habits.
What are some of your monthly goals?

I've been trying to loose weight too and it's slow going. It' hard to remember sometimes that muscle weighs more than fat! All I want is to see that scale move though!

These are great goals! I've really fallen off the goal making wagon, but I need to get back on. When I have goals I'm so much more motivated. Drinking more water is so one of the goals I need to make. Good luck this month!

You have given me a great idea to go ahead and write down my own monthly goals! This is a great way to try to achieve more and focus on what I need to do and what things I want to do! Thanks for sharing and good luck on you goals for April! A few of mine will be of healthy eating and more gym time!!!

Good luck with your goals! I really need to do this because it would hold me accountable to get my workouts in. 45 miles a month sounds like a lot! You go girl!

Good luck! =) I've also been working on my water intake. I also just started Beachbody workouts this week to get myself fit. Holy cow I'm sore, but it feels good to work out!

Great goals! You're obviously working hard to care for yourself -- well done! I know it's not easy. Can't wait to see pictures of your gallery wall!

Literally every month I tell myself I'm going to make new dishes, and I never do!

I love this! You did good girl!! All reasonable goals, I need to make my life more like this.
I try to tame the universe and give myself one hour to do so. It's not working hahaha

My first practical list:
Make a list!

Love your goals! I found you on Blogger Life. My goals are to get about 300-400 pageviews a day, lose 3 lbs, and quit spending money on fast food! (I bought McDonalds today. This is starting TOMORROW!!)

It looks like you have some great goals set up! I'm definitely working on getting my butt back into gear at the gym in April; our move has really thrown me off my routine. I can't wait to start eating better/cooking again and going to the gym! Also! Drinking 64 ounces of water can be tricky, but I bought a 64 ounce water bottle and fill it up and the morning and I don't let myself have any thing else to drink until I finish it. Maybe that would help? Good luck!
