Save the Date Reveal

All of our friends and families have gotten our Save the Dates and everyone is starting to plan to spend that special night with us. I have been so excited to share our Save the Dates with everyone! I absolutely love them, they turned out perfect.

I think I did pretty well with keeping my final pick a surprise. When I was first coming up with Save the Dates I was asking everyone and their moms for ideas. You all might remember this post, where I had about 15 ideas and I appreciate every single comment I got! It was really tough trying to come up with the perfect Save the Date and the one that fit us the most! I wanted it to be perfect, because it is the first thing you are sending out to your guests.

I decided to decorate the inside of the envelopes and made my own envelope liners (Tutorial coming). It was very time consuming but it made the envelopes so much prettier and more fun than the plain white inside.

The first part in choosing the Save the Date was the picture. Which picture was the best of Timmy and I? I spent hours looking at our Engagement photos and just couldn't pick one. I really didn't want to be in the same outfit that our Christmas Cards were in, but they seemed like they were the only ones that were working with my styles I liked. And then I found it.

I found the perfect picture with the perfect wording and it was perfect for us. Well Timmy didn't really care at this point because I had already designed about 50 more and shown him all of them, so it was perfect for me. I always considered myself a Princess.

It was the perfect picture and fit perfectly with the words. I am still in love with it and I am so happy that at the last minute I found this design on Minted. Luckily my uncle has a printing company and I sent him the design and he mirrored it perfectly and they were at my doorstep within a week!

Now that I have sent these out, it is time to starting designing the invitations :)

Beautiful. We decided to go without photographs since we didn't do an engagement shoot. And love to see people from NC! I lived about 40 mins from Raleigh but spent a lot of time there. Miss it so much!

I love them! Mine were very similar, and I spent FOREVER designing them. Then the day before I sent them out, I found out I was pregnant! Haha so we ended up changing the date to four months earlier, and now I have 150 spare save the dates in my office =)
