Weekend Recap: Another Lake Trip

We spent another weekend at Lake Norman with  Erin and Jay and it was so much fun! Especially because we took off work on Friday and had an extra day to spend relaxing in the water!

We got down to Lake Norman around 9 on Thursday night, headed to the grocery store to stock up the fridge for the weekend. Once we got to the condo we relaxed a little watched some TV and went to bed. Friday we all surprisingly slept in until about 9, which is rare for all four of us but it was much needed. We cooked cinnamon rolls for breakfast and packed up the cooler for the day.

Last May we went to the river for Erin's birthday and ended up buying a huge float to use that weekend, well we hadn't used it since so we thought we would bring it this weekend! It was the perfect float to relax on all day Friday!

There wasn't much difference of what we did Friday and Saturday, we pretty much floated all weekend, listened to good music, had some cocktails and enjoyed the company of good friends!

Weekends at the lake are my favorite and this may have been the last one for awhile, August is a busy month for us!
